What is Wood Oil?

What is Decking Oil?

What Is Furniture Oil?

Furniture oils are more generally used on exterior wood furniture, such as benches, tables and chairs in hospitality industries. TD Clad Oil can be used on softwood and hardwoods, giving a high quality and low odor finish. Due to exposure, exterior furniture should be water resistant and offer some UV resistance capability. Offering long lasting protection, TD Clad oil sales peak is springtime, getting the external grounds ready for summer.

Here we recommend, TD CLAD and the reason is it is a discrete formulation of natural oils, natural waxes, and resins that allows deep penetration into wood.   • Provide a veneer/ wood surface treated with TD Base and sanded 180 grit.
  • Spray first coat evenly and allow for 3-4 hours of drying time.
  • Excess atmospheric humidity or low temperatures can prolong drying time.
  • Sand lightly with 220 grit sand paper.
  • Spray second coat evenly and allow for 3-4 hours of drying time.
  • Clean the finished surface with buffing pad or fine grit (600 & above) sand paper.

What is Base Oil?

Base oil is known to be the base coat that is applied for the finishing and protection of the furniture. Base oil is a classic mixture of linseed oil varnish and natural balsamic turpentine. Half oil is been proven for centuries as an ideal primer for subsequent coats of oil paint for both interiors and exteriors.

Here we recommend TD BASE as it is a special formulation of natural oils with resins that form an ideal first coat for an oil treatment of any wood or veneer surface. It penetrates deeply into the veneer/ wood surface and cures well to ensure good protection over a long period of time.

How to use:

  • Fill nail marks with standard wood putty.
  • Use TD Base for light recoating of the veneer/ wood surface after filling nail marks

What is Pure Oil?

Pure Oil is is the pure kind of oil that helps to provide excellence resistant to the surface and protect the furniture for longer period of time and make it look new as always.

Here we recommend TD Pure and the reason is a high solid natural oil with zero VOC content. It contains special additives that give high transparency to the coated surface. TD Pure grants excellent abrasion resistance as well to the coated surface.

How to use?

  • Provide a veneer/ wood surface treated with TD Base and sanded 180 grit.
  • Spray first coat evenly and allow for 30 minutes of drying time.
  • Wipe off the excess oil from the surface and allow for 8-12 hours of drying time
  • Excess atmospheric humidity or low temperatures can prolong drying time.
  • Ensure uniform wiping in the direction of wood grain.
  • Sand lightly with 220 grit sandpaper.
  • Spray second coat evenly and allow for 30 minutes of drying time.
  • Wipe off the excess oil from the surface and allow for 8-12 hours of drying time.
  • Clean the finished surface with buffing pad or fine grit (600 & above) sandpaper

What is Shades Oil?

Shades oil is the kind of oil that needs to be used with natural oil to form a beautiful finishing coat on the wood or veneer surface. Its unique quality provide amazing color toning to the surface.

Here we recommend TD Shades and the reason is it is a unique mixture of natural oils, resins & pigments that form a perfect stain coat on a veneer/ wood surface and consequently treat with natural oils for surface finishing. As it is formulated on structurally thin oils, it penetrates deeply into the veneer/ wood and provides uniform color toning to the surface.

How to use?

  • Provide a clean degreased veneer/ wood surface sanded 150 grit.
  • Pray evenly and allow for 3-4 hours of drying time.
  • Excess atmospheric humidity or low temperatures can prolong drying time.
  • Sand lightly with 180 grit sandpaper.
  • Spray TD base as a sealer coat; allow for 3-4 hours of drying time.
  • Fill nail marks with standard wood putty.
  • Use TD Base for light recoating of the veneer/ wood surface after filling nail marks.
  • Follow up with subsequent top coat treatments.

What is Hues Oil?

Hues oil is a with zero VOC content to accentuate wood grains with bright solid colors in species.

Here we recommend TD Hues and the reason is it is a high solid colored natural oil with zero VOC content. Its primary purpose is to accentuate wood grains intensely with bright solid colors in species like Oak and Ash. The slow curing nature ofTD Hues allow the uniform spread of colors on the surface after wiping.

How to use?

  • Provide a clean degreased veneer/ wood surface sanded 150 grit.
  • Spray a light coat evenly and allow for 30 minutes of drying time.
  • Wipe off the excess oil from the surface and allow for 12 hours of drying time.
  • Excess atmospheric humidity or low temperatures can prolong drying time.
  • Sand lightly with 220 grit sand paper.
  • Spray TD base as a sealer coat; allow for 3-4 hours of drying time.
  • Fill nail marks with standard wood putty.
  • Use TD Base for light recoating of the veneer/ wood surface after filling nail marks.
  • Follow up with subsequent top coat treatments.

General guide and instructions:

  • For using, shake and stir well.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or crack.
  • Soak Cloth, Rags, Sanding papers, Buffing Pads used along with these products in water for discarding it. Unattended waste can cause self-ignition.
